Under our motto “United in Difference and Diversity” we encourage encounters between people of different origins, cultures and walks of life. Through cultural, social and civic activities we want to strengthen mutual understanding, break down prejudice and foster respectful coexistence.
We are convinced: harmonious coexistence grows where people meet one another, get to know each other and respect the diversity of cultures, religions and ways of life.
Afrika Time e. V. therefore sees itself as a bridge-builder between people, communities, organizations, institutions and volunteers, and within the wider city society.
These bridges carry the values we stand for:
Openness - Democracy - Tolerance - Diversity - Respect - Understanding - Solidarity - Cohesion - Sharing - Participation.
Our goal is a society in which diversity is understood as a strength and every person has the opportunity to take part, to help shape things and to belong.
Together we create encounter. Together we strengthen diversity. Together we shape society.
